LeKebb1 ( my arch enemy by now) stats: 22/19/2.5 over 908 hands.

Most interesting hand I have played in a long time especially given the history.

OK I was 3betting him light a ton as he was opening like any 2 from the BTN and folding a lot to my 3bets so why stop right?

I lead out on the flop, is this a bit fishy or fine with my draw?

He reraises me but I am getting 2.5:1 and we are deep so I have good implied odds. Is this OK?

I check and he bets a really small amount. I considered shoving or min raising back as it looked so weak but he could have been doing this to induce a shove I guess so I decided getting 4.61:1 that it was a profitable call even though I don't have the nut FD which i'd obv prefer! lol. What was my best play here on the turn?

River is a brick and I can't win the hand by checking but shoving here even though the straight just came in is gonna get called way to often for me to bluff here as my hand will look like a missed FD a lot as well. So I took the pussy way out and checked it down.

K high was actually good until the river which sucks but overall I thought this was a great hand especially as it was almost 200bb's deep. How did I play it overall?

In general when deepstacked (150bb+) you don't want to be 3betting light much at all pre. Reason being that you'll get called lighter and they'll float flop lighter as they have a lot of chips behind. In this spot it could be ok though if his fold to 3bet is over 75%. But vs someone who you've been battling with I'd just tend to let this go. Getting in marginal situations deepstacked and most importantly out of position is cripplingly difficult to play. I can't emphasize that enough. In position 3bet is fine there, but OOP would just muck it and save yourself the stress. As played you need to size bigger too, like $13-14.

Flop is fine, obv gonna cbet here, great board for it. When he raises big I reckon he's mostly gonna have 2pr, a big draw (maybe AcXc) or a combo draw and some sets (but not too many as hit betsize is so big he prefers you to fold). I think the spot sucks tbh, even if you hit the 2c you could still be behind AcXc and get stacked (reverse implied odds)... I guess that maybe balances the times you have his flush draws dominated. Sigh, I guess I'd call but be super unhappy about it.

This is exactly why we don't want to play deep OOP btw. It's incredibly difficult to outplay our opponent.

Turn when he bets small his range is super weakened. I weight him more towards non nut flush draws, straight draws and stuff now. Would say he almost never has sets now, and not as likely to have 2prs. I'd be super tempted to jam here if we were weaker, but I guess it'd suck to get shown Ac3c which is def possible still. I guess we sigh and flat again.

Riv his flushes mostly miss, he sometimes makes 2pr with open enders and FDs... but we don't really have much fold equity... and our K high might be good vs some of his missed draws. No real decision other than to check/fold.

Try not to put yourself in these spots by not playing deep pots OOP to decent players tbh.

Good comments Baz. More helpful than the "fold pre, you cunt" that I offered yesterday.
