I have close to 7k hands on vilain, he is a 23/19 multitabling reg that usually plays 200NL, but there's a bunch of races on the network for wsop seats and stuffs, so he's 12-tabling and dropped down for this I think. I noticed even if he's not tighter than normal, he takes line that simplify his game even if it's not optimal (seen him c/r and get it in w/ TT on 995r 4way, which is an absolutely non-standard move for him or anyone at the stake). 3.3 AF, 19% raise Cbet flop. I have some notes on him, not relevant to this situation besides maybe this one that indicates that he takes line that simplify his game even iif it's WTF : "BVB: calls CB T9 on J9x, minraise turn bet on J turn, ck 8 river"
I choose to not Cbet even if I had a couple of good cards that I can barrel turn that would give me equity. When he raises me on the turn, i'm very suspicious since I'd expect him to bet the flop with TT if he did not 3b pre. So at this point I put him on a draw, possibly pretty big, like 87cc, 89cc, but I think he can definitely do that with a bare str8 draw or FD. Do you fold or call and call a blank river ?
RIVER : he can definitely have hit this river but I guess there is some bare FD that missed. When he bets so small on the river, i hate to say this but it looks like a value bet to me.
