BF turn you mean, right? I'm not sure about that. We don't actually have any straights in our range, and we have very few monsters here (only 5 combos total of 98s+87s+88, plus of course 77 & 55). If Villain had a draw himself, he would often barrel turn too, wouldn't he? Furthermore, I expect to see him XR the turn some percentage of the time against our perceived range of few monsters, and a wide range of flush draws/combo draws/66/99 which would have a hard time continuing against a large turn XR.

Do we think Villain is barreling turns with all his overpairs? Nut hands? Would he opt for a turn XC or XR sometimes?

he barrels draws i think. and he mostly bets his OPs unless he has history of me being a floater, its just too dangerous to check and miss the ton of value...

vs aggro floaty villains, one might checkjam FDs here!

but here as played i read him as pretty polarized to a few nutters and a lot of air, so i checked. but then i realized that my hand, yet strong, is so vulnerable to like 75% of rivers.

and when the river bricked and he bet, i still folded. that seems so awkward to me..
can i fold river after checking turn`? my hand is pretty much face up, would he try to bluff me here with his air after checking the turn?

all seemed so wrong, but did i play it fine? :D

Well, I still like the check back... as played river is close. Villain has to know you have several pp's, 7x and maybe 5x plus Ace-highs that might be looking to hero call him, so for that reason I give his river bet more credit and fold.
