I call preflop because his 3b range is wide. My preflop calling range vs him is: 22-77,KK+,JTs+,QTs+,KTs+. My 4bet range is: 88-QQ, AJo+.
1. What do you think about my ranges? Btw, this guy mostly cbets 3/4 in 3bet pots.
OTF, I'm near the top of my range so I raise. I don't want to bluffcatch vs his range because it has good equity vs me.
Thoughts?
The above is what I wrote on July 30. Now it's a bit different:
His 3b range preflop is wide and mixed, since I saw him 3bet AJ and small PPs, SCs etc. So he's all over the place.
He doesn't like to fold vs 4bets with AJs,AQs,JJ type hands. So my 4b range vs him is: 88-QQ, AQ, AK (~5%).
My calling range is: 22-77 (?) ATs-AJs,KTs-KQs,QTs-QJs,JTs,ATo-AJo,KJo,QJo
He mostly cbets 3/4 in 3bet pots with his whole range apparently, so I don't want to make my calling range too wide, but I included all small PPs, because of implied odds (what do you think?).
Soooooo... On this flop, I'm right below the top of my range so the best of the middle part (Jx hands).
I'm not sure what's his cbetting range on this mono flop, but I assume it's wide and mostly missed it.
So we bluffcatch OTF and OTT, depending on the turn card, right?
Btw, as played, I think it's a relatively easy fold once he jams over my raise OTF. I don't expect his range to be wide enough for me to call it off. Not sure though.
